I.Professional Profile
Fifty-two years of distinguished service.
Mentoring · At the Chambers
Dr. Vijay Kumar Choudhary is a seasoned legal professional with over fifty-two years of distinguished service in the Indian legal system. Enrolled at the State Bar Council of Madhya Pradesh (Reg. No. 529/1972, dated 11 December 1972), he has been practising at the District Court of Bhopal and across various forums including the MP State Consumer Disputes Redressal Commission, MP State Arbitration Tribunal, MP State Co-Operative Tribunal, the National Green Tribunal, and the Real Estate Appellate Tribunal & Authority.
Dr. Choudhary served as a Civil Judge (Second Class) and Magistrate (First Class) in the High Court of Madhya Pradesh Judicial Service from June 1975 to August 1979 — a formative tenure on the bench that continues to inform the judicial temperament of his advocacy to this day.
His practice is animated by two convictions: that no matter is so small as to be treated routinely, and that a lawyer's first obligation is to the truth. Clients, colleagues and opponents alike remark upon a reputation for meticulous preparation and for arguments advanced with calm, unimpeachable force.

II.Positions of Responsibility
Entrusted with the office of the bar.
Elected by his peers across four consecutive terms at the State Bar Council, and twice President of the District Bar Association, Bhopal.
Dr. Choudhary served the Indian National Congress party as President of the Legal & Human Rights Department of the Madhya Pradesh Congress Committee (MPCC) from 2008 to 2018. In that office he formed departmental bodies in all districts of Madhya Pradesh and published a directory of advocate members of the L&HR Department.
He has successfully handled legal matters for several MLAs and senior office-bearers of the MP Congress Committee, including notable defamation matters on behalf of MPCC. He has won eight elections at the State and Regional level — a measure of the trust placed in him by the legal fraternity.
